YOUTH: Jesus Tour 2025
Join us Sunday, August 31 for an awesome night with other students from all over SWFL! Come ready to worship, connect with friends and be encouraged in God’s purpose for your life! Meet at GCC at 5pm to carpool to Church of Hope in Sarasota. We will return around 10pm. This event is FREE! Sign up in the lobby.
GROW: GriefShare
GriefShare is a biblical, Christ-centered grief support group ministry. It’s a place where grieving people find hope and healing. If you or someone you know could benefit from these sessions, please join us beginning Monday, September 8 from 7-9pm in the Conference Room. There is a workbook used for the class. SENIORS: Forever Young (55+)
Our GC Seniors next gathering is Thursday, September 11 from 11am-1pm in the sanctuary. Invite someone to join you as we worship God, have an encouraging devotion and fellowship afterwards with lunch together. Bring your favorite dish to share. Please sign up in the lobby so we can plan accordingly.
GROW: Men’s and Ladies Groups
Our Groups will resume on Tuesday, September 16 at 7pm. The men will gather in the Life Center for a study called “The Titus Ten” (Foundations for Godly Manhood) and the ladies will meet in the sanctuary and dive into the topic “Contentment.” Childcare is provided in the Life Center for Preschool through 5th grade.
SERVE: Team Opportunities
There’s always a place for YOU… at GCC! Get connected, serve Jesus, meet new people and shine your light! There are many areas of ministry to share your skills or to learn a new skill! Our current greatest needs are: Audio and Visuals (Sound Booth) and Next Gen (Nursery, Primary, Kids and Midweek Kids). We provide resources, training, monthly rotating schedules and the joy of belonging! GROW: Bible Reading Plan & Resources Page
The Bible Reading Plan for 2025 is available in the lobby and on our Resources page. Join us as we grow in God’s Word together this New Year! Also available, is a new page on our website “RESOURCES”, with various suggested items from books, podcasts, videos, websites and more, covering a range of topics - Parenting, Marriage, Work, Anxiety, Culture, etc. This page will be added to and grow in the future, and we pray it blesses you!
SERVE: Campus Maintenance
If you are available to serve, we could use your help in the regular interior and exterior efforts to maintain the GCC Campus! There are plenty of opportunities - from routine yard work to more specialized needs. For more info and to get connected, sign up in the lobby!
